This Is Chess, Not Checkers......All your actions will cause an eventual reaction

Be aware and cognizant of all of your actions in relation to your business and personal life.   When things are not going right in business I have seen many business owners (including myself) make some very questionable decisions with the hope that no one would ever find out and it would never come back to bite them.  This couldn't be further from the truth, as soon as you stray from your business plan trying to find a quick fix to an existing problem you have started down a road that will lead to an unfavorable end.  Being able to adapt is a quality that every business owner needs to have, but adapting while compromising your morals and ethics are signs of a desperate owner who feels like they are out of options.  Take a step back, take a breath and trust your business.  Do not drowned with your business.  Try your best to save it but in order to even be in a situation to save it you must save yourself.  Be honest with yourself and your staff, sometimes it's just time to live and fight another day.
